Williams College
Cole Field House
Williamstown, MA

Hammer Architects was retained to provide a new design for Cole Field House, a building built by the College in 1925 which, because of the growth of the athletics program, no longer functioned as needed. The project included both varsity and visiting team locker rooms, coaches and officials locker rooms, a sports medicine /training facility, a public lounge and an equipment room. The building was renovated to resolve Title 9 gender equity issues and to comply with current regulations, including ADA and the MAAB.
